I like movies.
I studied film in college, and I read horror film criticism for fun. In certain ways, I'm a pretentious film snob. In others, I'm a consumer of utter crap. I know good film when I see it, but that doesn't always mean I like it. I know bad film when I see it, but that doesn't mean I won't love it. I guess you could say my tastes vary across a broad spectrum, and I'm practicing writing reviews for a possible career in the field. My absolute ideal job would be to get paid to watch movies and write about them. Perhaps I'm living in a fantasy world, but a girl can dream, can't she?
Please give me criticism. Tell me, "we don't need a history of the genre," or "too much backstory" or "BAD WORDING," or "you're rambling." I need to know these things. I need as many eyes as possible while I'm building back into writing, so help me out.
